JOIN THE GIVING SOCIETY

BE A HISTORY MAKER

The Port St. Lucie Historical Society was started by a group of ladies in 1995 who were interested in preserving the history of Port St. Lucie for our future generations.

Over the last twenty—eight years, the mission to preserve our history has continued, but the dream of sharing our history with others is still waiting to come true.

While the Society has been working to preserve our history by archiving and storing important records and artifacts to document our history, the other part of our mission, “to have a location to share our history with others”, is still waiting to happen. But this will change very soon.

Thanks to the City of Port St. Lucie, who has worked to preserve two early St. Lucie County structures, has granted the Society the ability to finally open the Port St. Lucie History Museum and Education Center. The doors will open in early 2024.

However, to do this and make it a great success, we need you assistance. They say it takes a village to raise a child, well the same can be said about opening a museum. It’s going to take our residents and businesses to work together to open the doors.

Please consider becoming a “history maker” by making a financial contribution to make the Port St. Lucie History Museum and Education Center a success for us and our future generations!!!

Thank you!
